  • Help with MS Paint

Could somebody please tell me how do I use a colour I want to select from the picture itself?

The attached pic will explain what I am talking about.

I want to use the color I have circled.

    How do I do that?

    Thanx!

        Eureka! Thank You!

Another small question , Can we make a pic lighter? (like a lighter shade of that pic?) Can we?

I don't think you can do that in paint. But any of the photo-programs (photoshop) will do

Try the Gimp, it's at least free.

Don't have photoshop on here, but it should be similar to Adobe Photodeluxe...
you should find a section 'adjust quality' and change brightness somewhere...

So how easy is it to fix an underexposed photo? Very easy. Open your photo up and choose Image> Adjustments> Shadow/Highlight (CS-only. For pre-CS look below). You'll see an immediate change in your photo and it will probably be too extreme, but don't panic. Photoshop ships with defaults that are often way over the top. Just play with the Amount Slider and the Tonal Width Slider until you find just the right balance. And you're done!

or if you have pre-CS check more here:

There is lots of ways to make a picture lighter depends on what you want, probably the easiest way is use those auto feature

                        auto level, contrast and colour

or you can use pretty much any of these, level, curve (bit hard to use), brightness/contrast, hue/saturation, shadow/hightlight, exposure, variation.

some are good some are bad methods, but for simple stuff, it really doesn't matter
