Every place is wonderful in it's own way. It's just what makes you choose to go to live somewhere else. There are so many reasons that makes people to do strange decisions, for example like my great-grandparents went from Latvia to Siberia to live there. And reasons to come back too, to Latvia after the 2 world wars, with nowhere to live and no relatives there...
The coastline... well Greece has about 16,000 km of that since there are about 6,000 islands and islets in the Aegean and Ionian Sea. And (not uniquely), there are beautiful beaches, rivers and lakes and everything else you can find almost everywhere in the world. Beauty has been divided equally to all countries.
It is long since I came to the conclusion that the beauty of a place cannot be the basic criterion for moving. Would you buy a house judging only by the view? I for one have been to amazingly beautiful places from where I couldn't wait to get away, for reasons entirely personal of course. So now I would give moving to another country a second (and a third and a millionth) thought...
