UK-Because there are lots of Indians there and people love to play Snooker there and ofcourse its a beautiful place!

Indianapolis-Because one of my friend lives there who was with me in skool , Who left India in 1997 and I lost contact with her since 1997 and amazingly met her online after 9 long years!!!! So would like to be ther!

            Australia or New Zealand.

If I had the money (and the marks) I'd love to study at Oxford after I graduate. But that probably won't happen

              allright.

number one place for me is Riga, Latvia. always.
I guess I could live anywhere - don' t care about climate so much, rather a place where I feel comfortable among the people, where I have got friends and the loved ones. Planet earth

A village in Southern Ireland would be nice but after watching Dumb & Dumber many years ago I've since had a dream of living in aspen, Colorado.

Funny, I was discussing this a couple of days ago.
To me the weather is important, being born and raised in a countery where the winters are mild and the summers are hot but the sea is easily accessible no matter where you live. The people are also important of course.

There was a time when I wouldn't even consider moving abroad. Then I grew up and got another perspective on things.
And last year I seriously considered the possibility of moving to California. One of the things that held me back was my family. And of course before making such a decision that will turn your life around, serious research is a must.

Bottom line for me, I could try to live somewhere else, an English speaking country is somewhere I could survive, but I would always miss home and come back as often as possible.

Now if I'm not mistaken, Semih who asked this question to begin with never answered it, isn't it high time he did?

Yes, it's one of those questions that you always think you'd like to live somewhere else but if you had the chance would you really do it!
We have several friends who spend 6 months in the sun every year but I think I would miss home, friends, lifestyle. Having lived in South Africa for 2 years, I loved the outdoor life and the almost guaranteed sunshine and I think Capetown is the only place I'd every consider moving to.

I guess the first point would be to answer yourself - why would you want to move. And then you'd know where to. So simple.

                        So simple?

My first reaction was "cool, warm sunny places", but I instantly changed my mind when I thought of the Greek islands at least. Have you ever been to one in winter? It's cold and dump and most of them are difficult to access except from the big ones.

Oops I'm killing the Greek tourism here... let me see how that can be fixed...
So, the bad weather shouldn't turn off someone who lives in Scotland, right? I'm sure anything is Greece can beat the weather there...
As for accessibility, well a foreigner would only consider a big island so no problem there!

I'm not saving this am I? Oh well...

Nina, I doubt you can get a full spectre of -37C to +37C within a year like we here in Latvia often do And a sea coast of 500km, with only white sand beaches, and rivers and lakes, and woods with animals and birds that are not so widely seen in 'old' Europe any more... Every place is wonderful in it's own way. It's just what makes you choose to go to live somewhere else. There are so many reasons that makes people to do strange decisions, for example like my great-grandparents went from Latvia to Siberia to live there. And reasons to come back too, to Latvia after the 2 world wars, with nowhere to live and no relatives there...

Well, I lived there when I was very young (3-4) for a year, can't really remember much though .
If I don't get to stay on in my job in February I will be (hopefully) going on a world tour, staying in Tokyo for a few months with my cousin (who lives there)
You play a long slow deadweight red to a corner pocket. As it approaches the pocket, a kamikaze woodlouse crawls out from under the cushion and makes its way across the table, conflicting with the path of the red precisely at the point the red gets there. The red, needless to say, veers off course, and the future of the woodlouse is uncertain. - The Statman
