You know what annoys me?
Being a teenager.
We are too young to do this and that,
Yet too old to act the fool, where as if Alan Davies does the same thing on QI, he is a comic genius.
We are constantly labelled as trouble makers because of the CHAV culture that has opened up greatly in minority over the past few years, and we are subjected to constant mis-judgement from the government and nation as a whole.

The it comes to emotional problems.
Anyone who doesnt knmow that teenagers go though puberty is a waste of oxygen. Yet when we have emotional probllems caused by this phase, we are told to grow up.
You can't be in love at 15, yet at 21 you can? Bulls#!t !

If we cry we are attention seekers, or poofs if your a guy...apparently.

The world needs a reality check as teenagers are the key to the future, without us, the world would be a very dull and soon to be empty place.

The sooner people see us for who we are, and what we are going through, not our age and what we wear, the better.

Beeing a teenager myself, I think I have been lucky enough not to experience the things you are describing, in fact I can't say I feel like I've been "going through" anything. Puberty works different from one person to another though.

Basically I think one have to accept that not everyone is going to be friends with you and that you should not take too hard on things other people say about you or such. Adults are only human, every coin has two sides etc.

You're a bright young man with your whole life in front of you and I know things will appear different for you in time.

mcmanusrules being a teenager does have its ups and downs. Although i am now at least twice as old as you, belive it or not, i can still clearly remember being 14 - 15.

It is true at that age you do not get much respect from adults and sometimes do not get taken seriously atall. Also you have no real independence.

But look on the bright side, at least you dont have a mortgage and bills to pay and all that crap, and dont have to work 40 hours a week, 48 weeks a year !! ;-)

Any problems do not magically disapear as you get older, you just get new ones instead. At least that has been my experience.

Nowadays its a lot different for youngsters. There are many more influences from the outside world than. lets say, in the 70's. In those days, you would have a couple of TV channels, neighbourhood you lived, relatives and school you visited. Thats it. less globalization. At that time you were more respected for what you are. Nowadays you have to live up to a certain standard otherwise you are not welcome!

Brilliant time though. from 15 going. First time I went to the pub!

Advice: Take things lighthearted. Enjoy what you like and dont take all the problems of the world on your shoulder. No one can solve it!

I don't want to put you on a downer Dan, but life only gets harder
