  • Sports personality! A Class matter?

I just read someone called Zara won the trophy. In my opinion Phil Taylor should have won it. Of course hes not royalty and the peoples champion. Does not fit into the Beebs snobbery settings nowadays.

And dont give me the answer, the people voted! No one believes that.

I don't think she deserved it, the only 2 in my opinion should have been Phil Taylor or Nicole cook. But of course when up against royaly you aren't going to win. The whole event is a frace, how could Jenson Button get to be in the Top 10?? He has won 1 race! That's only 1 more than me
You play a long slow deadweight red to a corner pocket. As it approaches the pocket, a kamikaze woodlouse crawls out from under the cushion and makes its way across the table, conflicting with the path of the red precisely at the point the red gets there. The red, needless to say, veers off course, and the future of the woodlouse is uncertain. - The Statman

I totally agree. Its quite farcical to see that a world champion in snooker is not among the 10 contenders, while Clarke, Murray and Button did not even win anything decent. The 2 boxers also deserved it, though its not my sport at all.

Moreover as their road to success is a bit harder than a royal who has been pampered since she has been born. All facilities and costs payed by the british public!

Equestrian, and she is 11th in line for the thrown. Plus her mother won it in 1970's.

            Its always been a farce.

Look how often a footballer has won the award! I dont agree with this as they are only as good as the team they play for.

Oh, maybe she's better looking than her horse, so the public was impressed and voted for her?

Should it not have been the horse that won the award??

                    Exactly!!

Should be the car in motor racing, the caddy in golf, the racket in tennis, the cue in snooker.........ok I've taken this a bit far, but you know what I mean!
