Thanks for your help so far,April and vuce, but the problem now is that I don't know how to use these programs....
I mean,I don't know what to do to convert the files.
If someone has the patience to give me a "crash course for dummies" in how to convert files I'd be forever greatful.
    Thanx

Solvi, look at this link, maybe it will help?

I have not used it, so I am not sure if that works with protected audio files.

I know I mentioned this last night, but I'll just repeat it here, so you have it in writing as well:

A not-too-elegant, but 100% idiot proof solution is to download MP3myMP3. It records the sound as it flurps through the sound card, and when the song is over, simply save it manually as an mp3 file. The program is free and you can save full length tracks, up to 60 mins or so if I recall correctly.

It's what I use whenever bands put previews/free tracks on MySpace The quality should not suffer too much from it, seeing as the wma files aren't as heavily compressed as whatever's on MySpace.

Ok,downloaded the thing, and it seams easy enough to use. The problem is,I cant adjust the recording volume. Whenever I try,it just snaps back,I you know what I mean.

Did you check the FAQ? There's some stuff on volume control there. I've never encountered that problem, so I don't know.

Thanx again for the help,Maija. It works fine now,but the sound quality is only ok-ish.It would be suitable for other purposes i think.
And as I am a demanding b****, I'd want to know how the CDex-thing works as well,'cause I want better quality.
                  Thanx again

                    Ok,yet again I have a question:
I tried to log in at the Billirds Tracker web site, but discovered I have forgotten my username
I checked the FAQ section and found the link to retrive my username, but when i entered my e-mail address (to which my username would be sent) I got an error message saying "E-mail Invalid".
I know I typed my address correctly, so maybe there's a problem with the site?
Any suggestions as to what I could do?
                    Thanx

Hello everyone - I have a question as well - how do I upload my own AVIs onto the billiard tracker site??

Have created the .torrent file. Have then filled out the form on the website but there is then an error when I try to seed the file in BitTorrent. Any help would be much appreciated.

I suppose you have uploaded .torrent file to the server. Then delete the .torrent file on your comp and download it again from the billiard tracker site, and open in the bittorrent client - it will start seeding the file. That's how it worked for me. Don't know why the original file is not working.
