kirk Shepherd got to the final and never averaged over 90 in any match. in only 2 matches was his average more than his opponent. The standard in the PDC was lower this year with the exits of Taylor and Barney and also the likes of Wade who had flu.
Having said that, Part's overall tournament average was better than Websters.

In addition, 18 players in the PDC averaged over 90, compared to only 5 in the BDO - The PDC tournament may be larger, but this does imply more strength in depth.

The better players play for the PDC because money talks. It is rumoured that Gary Anderson will be switching soon.
The BDO produce them and the PDC poaches them!

Yeh i love my darts.. enjoyed watching both world championships! The PDC is obviously much better than the BDO. Congrats to John Part and Marc Webster!
