I did and I can't stand Barneveld and I can't stand players milking the BDO then moving over to the other side to win more money. Why can't they just start over on that side instead of switching sides. If you chose one then you should have to stick with it.TSF World Champion 2010

Really? I'm not surprised in the slightest. Quite frankly I though Klassen was the "big name" joining the PDC last year, and was pleasantly surprised to see barneveld. With those three names of the future going, the BDO is almost dead.
In terms of sporting drama, it was fantastic. 6-0 up, 6-6, 7-6, who can ask for more, but interms of quality, it was not a patch on the PDC. Look at the numbers.
PDC - both averaged over 100 per 3 darts thrown
BDO - Adams averaged 90, Nixon 86 or 87
In short, both men would have lost the PDC final, and probably 7-0
To put this in snooker terms, it's like saying that when I beat my friend 18-17 with a top break of 52 it was as good a game as the 18-17 between Davis and Taylor....

Barney keeps winning. I hate to say it, but the man certainly can handle his darts as well as anybody.
The three new Dutchies, Klaassen, Van Gerwen and Van der Voort are also doing well, with Klaassen reaching the third round and the other two going as far as I believe the QF in the tournament in Gibraltar.
Van Gerwen also beat Van Barneveld recently.
That's it, I'm changing my name to Van van Van. That'll improve my chances I think."I'll be back next year." --Jimmy White

Latest tournament had surprise winner Scott Waites who beat Tony O'Shea, Martin Atkins and Steven West on his way to victory.
Interesting to note that Edwin Max, a new Dutch pro reached the semi final before losing to Steven West. Max reminds me of Kramer, so he's an instant favourite of mine. But he struggled with his doubles so badly he practically handed Steven the match on a silver platter.
Trina Gulliver of course won the female tournament. She even threw a higher average in her final than Waites did in his final. Why doesn't she just play with the men already?"I'll be back next year." --Jimmy White

He beat the Saturday winner (Barney) on the Sunday and the Sunday winner (Hamilton) on the Saturday! Top 8 quality I reckon. He lost to Warriner and Scholten.
Klaasen had one L16 plus one L32. Lost to Manley and Osborne.
Van der Voort had one L16 plus one first round defeat. Lost to Lewis and Part.
A pretty fair start for the Dutch defectors.

Masters of Darts
Line up. Barney and Taylor both lost their first matches. I wonder if Taylor is on the downslide. After losing in the premier league as well. Van Gerwen belted Phil 3-0. Peter Manley beat Barney 3-2.
