Hey all.
Wondering through my local shopping complex today I walked into general entertainment shop "Borders", looking at the January Sale bargains(like you do), I headed for the book section.
I saw a book called Chart Throb, and a memory triggered in the back of my already useless head, and I struggled to remember what the hell the meory had to do with anyting remotely related to anything to do with my life, then I thought...aaah the book.
I saw Ben Elton on "Parkinson" a few weeks ago, plugging his new book, and I thought it sounds great, I must buy it.
At a normal price of £18 I would have had to have been drunk to buy it, but at half price, a measly £9, I was tempted, so I picked it up and bought it.
Having read a mere half of the first page so far, I am thrilled that I own it, it is amazingly hillarious.
When finnished I shall provide a complete review for you to read, and I would much appriciate any comments on any books by Ben you have ever read, as I wish to start a collection, of ALL his works.
Thank you,
Dan.
