That was a good match. Shame Barney won, but he did deserve it. He was the better player over all.

was one of the best darts matches ive seen in the last 25 years or so, if not the best.

to come from 3-0 down, having only one one leg in those first 3 sets, to beat PhilTaylor was a great achievement.

What an absolute belter! Though, i still think the Part - Taylor match had a higher standard.

I have to eat my hat as i said Barney would not make it in the PDC! Must be in the top 3 ever now. Behind The Power and battling for second place with the cockney rebel (Bristow).

wow! what a match, it lived up to the hype in every way possible. And a nice closing sequence by Sky, The jam was a very apt tune for the situation.

I think the match was absolutely awesome, the players don't get the credit they deserve as its still seen as just a pub game! I didn't think Barney had a chance at 3-0 down but he has fantastic fighting qualities. I think his performance against Colin Lloyd in the second round was better as Lloyd was in top form all the way through. You always have a chance against Taylor if you hit him hard, he doesn't handle the pressure too well. After Barney went in front he was never going to lose IMO, the deciding leg was fantastic quality considering what was at stake. Both players hitting 180's but it was Barney who held his nerve.

In my opinion, Barney did to Phil was Phil does to everyone else. He crushes his spirit and broke him down. Phil only threw an average of 101, which is high for everyone else, but very low for Phil. After the fourth set, in which Barney simply demolished Phil, Taylor just lost the plot.

There is one dutch darter I even dislike more. Co Stompe. What a farce! Exit first round all the time and afterwards pundit for the rest of the tournament telling how the others should play. Quite an idiot!

This could be a description of John Parrott couldn't it?
