I found this site from uk8ball, which i'm a member on too, Archer
moderator Lozzy - there was nothing Moderate about Green Baize!!

It's good to see some familiar faces (well names!) here

I found the forum via ASS, a google ad on GSC and direct email.

I found out about this in March through google whilst searching for a snooker message board. I have recently been promoting this site on BBC and have brought many people here
You play a long slow deadweight red to a corner pocket. As it approaches the pocket, a kamikaze woodlouse crawls out from under the cushion and makes its way across the table, conflicting with the path of the red precisely at the point the red gets there. The red, needless to say, veers off course, and the future of the woodlouse is uncertain. - The Statman

Interesting thread on how groups seem to migrate over to this forum - not that I expect it in anyway, but for all the new members, if you wish to let others know about thesnookerforum.com, I would appreciate it!

As a few others have mentioned to me - we have the makings here to be one of the largest Snooker Forums on the internet. Now THAT is something to strive for

I first heard about this forum on the BBC 5 live snooker forum in March I think. Then recently, I found out Statman moved his prediction contest here, so that's was the final reason I decided to ditch the BBC forum, which had started to inhale air vigorously, and now I consider this my main forum.

860 members. No trolls? That is awesome.
