  • Apple Ipods

I got an off topic topic for you to chew on.
    iPods, Mp3 players

I've recently jumped on the bandwagon for these devices, but as yet I haven't purchased one. Mainly because they're so damned expensive . I want one exclusively for music really, I'm not interested in most of the other capabilities of these devices.
I want music, I want good quality sound(loud and clear), I want lots of memory and I want a reliable source of power.

What I want to know is if anyone here has one, how much did cost, pros and cons and any recommendations.

p.s. sorry not to continue with your riviting story

Sony have just released their iPod Equivalent - quite pricey i'm told - about £270! That's Sony for ya though

That is a bit pricey, but sony is usually pretty reliable.
I've heard nothing good about ipod.....their battery is hopeless, and they're quit eheavy and bulky.
And Creative's version of the ipod has memory issues.
Iriver has a pretty good one, but it's $750 (australian) And i don't have that kind of cash to blow on convenient music.

I wont be affording much, Im moving house Saturday

Funny story though, I was overpaid at work by £103, a year later they asked for the money back. In June my mate was overpaid £1800, they said he can keep it.. He's had a holiday, laptop and Ipod out of it so far.!

I think so long as you agree to pay the money back in instalments, then can't do a thing! One of my old teachers had a dispute with a phone company and agreed to pay them back at a rate of 20p a week or something silly like that

They ask you to payback 103, but don't ask for 1800 back from your mate? Doesn't that tell you something?
Who in human resources did you **** off?

I don't like Ipods that much so I would go with a normal MP3 player
