I have never seen Top Gear until Wednesday Night when I recorded it by mistake instead of the snooker and I thought it was hilarious. Absolutely classic tv. I have now been converted.

Top gear is a great programme. I have no interest in cars but it really doesn't matter. Its more than that.

A car review show would never become the most watched show on BBC2.

Its great stuff and very popular over here as well. There is even a dutch version of The magazine. Comedy all over and cars 99% of us cannot afford.

I find the new series not that sparkling. I guess they should take a year off in between series to think off new ideas and keeps us eager to look out for a new series every 2 years.


Best clips:

- The toyota pickup demolition effort.
- Clarkson driving with a bucket of water on his legs. (you can imagine the sight when he got out of the car).
- Torpedoing caravans!
- Clarkson beaten by a german female driver on the nurburgring.
- Winter olympics, mini going off the ski ramp!

I love Top Gear, it is certainly the best car programme on TV. The show with Ronnie appearing on it was great, his face when he realised The Stig was driving his Merc was a picture.
I would love to know who The Stig is, it is the most closely guarded secret ever. They say he is a Rally Driver and not a F1 Driver because of the line he takes.

I think they may be on Stig # 3 by now. #1 was a pro racer though not so famous I'd remember his name. #2 likewise, and when I last googled it there was talk of #2 having quit.

Best clip... The latest series when they pulled up for some petrol in the bible bashing county with 3 old yank bangers complete with god was a puff or such like plastered along the cars sides.

I love Top Gear! Even though I'm not really interested in cars,I don't even have a drivers licence...
I thought the episode with the Dutch motor cycle/car was hilarious

anybody saw the show, when they had hypnotised the 'little guy' (Richard?) and he seriously thought the pedal car he got on was a Porsche. I was in tears!!!!
