  • Pleiades covered by the moon

For all of you who are interested in astronomy...
This phenomenon takes place every 18.6 years or so, dunno if it'll be spectacular.
Anyway you can't say you weren't told!
So tonight at appr. 00:45 CET the Pleiades will be covered by the moon

The pleiades is a star cluster, the name originates from the Greek mythology (like with most stars), you can look it up in Wiki:

Some paper announced yesterday we've only got 13 years left, no chance to watch this phenomenon again. So for those who already decided it's safer to spend their lifes on the interwebs anyway there's of course something to find on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UnIXnVK4Gp8
