We got a glimpse of it too, although the sky was not as clear as I expected. It was nice...

I saw a beautiful full moon (ran out every half hour from 10 pm) the whole night until I fell asleep

There are a few videos on youtube, but I like this one the best cause it shows the red moon.

Thanks Nina It looks just as it has to be, the red moon. Reminds me how I was watching moon eclipse many many years ago, with my parents. Magic

We were in Anglesey(Wales) for the week-end staying in an apartment on the third floor with a balcony looking out over Snowdon. The eclipse was fantastic, the sky was so clear with millions of stars because there is no ambient light there. We also sat outside with friends large telescope watching it till after midnight!

Anglesey?! Any (wannabe- or ghost-) druids running around on their bare feet doing weird kind of rituals for the occasion?

Lunar eclipses are more frequent to see than solar ones, another one coming up in 2008 apparently. Not that most people get very excited by lunar eclipses anyway - seeing the sun 'disapear' during the day seems more impressive ...
I saw that going differently in my mind
