I may be showing my age, but here goes in no particular order:

Spy Hunter
Jet set willy
Double Dragon
Ye ar Kung fu
Karate Champ
Nemesis
The Legend of Zelda series
The Super Mario series
Grand Turismo
R-Type
Outrun
Chase HQ
Wonderboy

But my absolute favourite game was Street Fighter II, the game which totally revolutionised beat em ups with the application of combo attacks.

My little lad got treated to the new batman game on PS3 which he says is amazing - felt silly getting it as it wont work when I get the Ps4 I am told.

Still a big lover of video games and no matter whats released these days i still get the most enjoyment from retro Mario & Sonic games.

My lad is hounding me for COD GHOST. Most of his mates have it already but we have got him the PS4 for Christmas. Currently Xbox......cheesed off in the amount of games he has for the xbox that on Christmas Day will he useless!!!! Our fault I know!!!! Look out for an Xbox with tons of games for sale on Boxing Day folks!!! Lol.....

There used to be queues to play Street Fighter 2 in the student union, it really broke the mould.

My own favourite is Lemmings on the Amiga, it took a whole Summer to complete every level incl mayhem. Not easy with a keyboard and mouse!
