Well I cant find fault with Eddie Hearn - You can quote me on this - but I think a good test of a great boxing promoter is if the fans would pay just as much to see him get beaten up.

Fascinating fight as both could knock a horse out but both imo not even close in experienced enough to fight for a world title, Hearn showing his own inexperience by putting him up for a world title after effectively one fight against another inexperienced boxer who buzzed him Dillian Whyte.
Martin's record is full of fairground fighters but they say he's never lost a round in sparring so i've put a decent bet on him at 4/1 which is an insane price considering AJ is just a novice.
I'm actually annoyed with Hearn's handling of AJ and if his career goes tits up it'll be his fault

Well I like you Geordie you one of the best posters on the forum but on this point here I disagree completely this guy has come for the money - Hearn is backing his man and has put this together and I think its great we have a top promoter able to do that - Just think differently for a moment about what you saying I mean yeah AJ is still learning but sometimes you got to grasp the opportunities when they come up - you love boxing and so do I. Now imagine that we might have another Heavyweight Champion of the World. In fact Great Britain and the home nations has never been as blessed in history as it is currently with the crop of boxers we have and I would hope and wish you me and everyone else should / would get behind him...I think Joshua will put him away as quick as the bookmaker does with your money in the bank.

Thanks but I'm not even close to being one of the best posters on here as its a snooker forum and I'm in no way good enough at the game to contribute like others on here, as far as the boxing goes i do want him to be champ which he will be at some point but i just wish he'd learned more as he'll just get knocked out at some point because he hasn't been brought on correctly, I hope I'm wrong though

I don't think AJ was in that much trouble tbh

                          • I do... He stiffened right up, you don't stiffen like that if you're not close to dropping bud..

Any decent finisher would have had him out of there IMO.

OK looking back he never stiffened as much as I remembered but whyte had him hurt alright. He was weak, upright and stiff, heavy-footed for a bit. A better fighter won't let him off so easily...
