eurosport in France?

I just moved to France (near the boarder to Switzerland, around Geneva) and now I have to find out how to watch snooker here. None of my collegues seems to have Eurosport, so I wonder how you can get it here. Can anyone help me? I don't speak French, so it's hard for me to look around on the French websites.

I would recommend watching Eurosport's snooker online! or even BBC's when they air it!

Eurosport is a French channel, so I guess you could get it there...

I know for sure that it's possible to get it somehow...but just how??? Anyway, thanks Skypigeon for the link, I didn't know that you could watch live snooker also on British Eurosport (last time a checked they didn't show it while it was on on the German page). I'd love to watch BBC but so far I have never managed to keep the connection alive for a whole match.

I live in Paris and can confirm that you can get snooker on Eurosport. I guarantee that within five minutes you'll have the commentary turned down, as the repeated references to the 'forum' where they have such interesting and relevant questions as "how heavy are the balls", "why do the players wear bow ties" and "is there a snooker club near me, I liove on the moon" soon take away the will to live.

The main commentator whose surname is appropriately enough Le Prat knows virtually nothing about snooker, anbd he relies on the input of his expert guests (once in a while) and people on the phone (more often) to help him out.

That said at least they show it most of the time.

So it's the same as on German Eurosport... I just thought it would be a good way to pratice a bit of French, as I can somehow imagine from the situation on the table what they are talking about (Normal TV programms are too difficult for me.). I am just beginning to learn the language but at work everybody speaks English and as I spend most of the time there I never get the chance to practice.
