  • The joys of waiting in casualty

I think I've broken my ankle but 3 hours I've been sat here waiting to be seen. I can feel the life force draining away.

I've been cleaning large rocks in my back garden and it rained overnight creating a mud pit. In the morning I was putting the bin out wearing just my dressing gown and boxers and over I went. I couldn't even get up it was that sliddy. I had to hose myself down before getting back into the house. I could tell my kids were impressed.

Good luck mate - I dislocated and fractured my ankle last september so my right ankle has been screwed and plated, it has been challenging but as far as getting around the table I am fine now and it has helped me to focus on snooker in the absence of other sports.
