Anyone here a fan of darts? i for one love the game and will be attending the latest round in blackburn 2moro. Will be great to see the legends of the game like barney an phil taylor throwing live.

Major fan of darts here. I don't really have a favourite player as I find all the top players like Scholten, Taylor, Priestley etc. brilliant to watch. My most hated player, however, is Adrian "Arrogant Twat" Lewis - after the beatings he's been given I doubt he will try another blind 180!

That Jenkins-Lewis match was brilliant, and what about Priestley and Barney both landing on potential 9-dart finishes in the same leg?!

Supposedly the Premier League may have an event in Holland next year. I really hope it happens, because the standard of play and the attendances in the UK have been great so far, and this can only serve to raise the sport's profile.

I watched last nights action just now, and the 4 consecutive 180,s was top class... 13 trebble 20,s off the trot is amazing from these guys..

shame about the crowd trouble in the Taylor match, they were fighting and brawling, shouting and screaming like football hooligans, they dont seem like dart fans to me...

Taylor and lloyd had to stop playing in the middle of the leg, and then taylor seemed to be egging them on by dancing about on the stage like an idiot.


Its bristows 50th birthday next week, it would be nice to see him there playing a few legs against john lowe as a birthday treat!

Yeh i was there was top stuff! shame about some of the hooligans in the crowd! they spoilt it with the lack of respect to the players. the fight was out of order! i think that was drink related.

The priestley barney match was awesome with both on a 9 darter on the same leg!

I was also very fortunate to bump into the great phil taylor before the match as he arrived at the venue. Also met eric bristow, sholten and the legendary sid waddell.

Apparently barney walked past me when i was chatting 2 taylor. Guy behind me told me so. Which i was a little disppointed by!

Some great darts nonetheless! shame about the few morons who look at the event as a hooliganism night out

The pdc us darts open this weekend. The tv coverage of this tournament is sat 7.30-12.30 sat challange tv sky channel 124 the early rounds and selected games on the main tv stage... sunday 7.30-12-30 quarter finals onwards,all matches live, the format is 5 sets 3 legs per set.. maybe it could be another Taylor v barnie final????

...........I also enjoy watching darts, mainly on tv, but don't get to many matches. And I don't suppose you know by any chance what Eric Bristow is doing now? Such a character, and always remember one of his famous quotes..."Was I the greatest darts player? perhaps"... ..bless him......

He works for Sky Sports either commenting on the matches or doing spotting.
I've never heard him in the commentary box - perhaps Sky are afraid he will become so irritated by Sid Waddell that he will murder him during one of the intervals?

Eric is touring the country with john lowe doing a legends tour and he is doing lots of exhibitions with deller, big cliff, and bobby george this summer.With darts being so popular now (more than ever before)Hes probably making more money now,then he did when he was winning his titles

......and I just said to Imy as well, great to see that Eric is still involved in darts, even though he's not playing for titles anymore...

A great draw wherever he goes, and I'm sure Eric has livened up the comments/commentary during matches. A true legend, and we all have our own style, and always found Eric to be very down to earth, plain speaking, and a little tongue-in-cheek, incredible talent, and an incredible person. Good luck to him, a great legend.

I can tell you Eric bristow and john lowe are doing their legends exhibition at the Park Hotel in Tynemouth, Newcastle on sat the 26th May


Also Bobby George, Keith Dellar,and Eric Bristow will be doing a series of special matches next month.

The doors open at 6 p.m and then at 8pm it all starts..
