I have recieved a few Snooker related spam emails in recent months the latest being today from snookerprofiles.co.uk which in terms of grammar was poor and was an email I didn't request for a website I wont be visiting. Especially now. I have no objection to people launching their own website especially if its Snooker related but I didn't request this email or the previous ones and there is a right and wrong way to market on the internet. I suspect these people have got my email address from TSF as I can't think of another source. Can anyone either confirm or deny this and has anyone else recieved the same email? Maybe when I registered at TSF I checked the box that says 'Can TSF sell your email address to third parties so you recieve unsolicited and badly formatted emails' but I doubt it.

I received one for the first time today.
There is a note at the bottom of the email that says "snooker profiles is in association with www.jesterssnooker.co.uk". They may have got your email address from there.2009 Shanghai Masters Lucky Dip Champion

My company actualy sent out the emails on behalf of Snooker Profiles.
The email list was purchased through a marketing company in Dover, at the bottom of the email there is a unsubscribe link, all people unsubscribing form that email will not recieve further emails.
TSF terms and conditions when you sign up does say that the site will not sell your email or personal information onto 3rd parties. I don't know if previous owners have sold on this information before selling the site but I doubt it very much.
PM me if anyone else has recieved this email, adn if I get 2,885 PM's I will know the information from here has been sold.
In total 11,738 emails were sent out over the past 4 days.
