  • The Biggest Poem Ever

Thought I would start a thread with the world's biggest poem. Well, let's see.

    Here are the rules:

    - You can only post one line of the poem at a time.

    - The poem will be divided into verses (stanzas) of 4 lines each.

    - The 3rd line of each verse must rhyme with the 1st line. The 4th line must rhyme with the 2nd.

    - Once each verse of 4 lines is finished, the next person writes the first line of the next verse.

Hopefully someone will add to this, or it could be the Shortest Poem Ever. I'll start with the first line:

There's a game with balls called snooker,
"If anybody can knock these three balls in, this man can."
David Taylor, 11 January 1982, as Steve Davis prepared to pot the blue, in making the first 147 break on television.

That line is too long and doesn't rhyme!

          OK, we're on:

But sometimes playing a part can be luck,
"If anybody can knock these three balls in, this man can."
David Taylor, 11 January 1982, as Steve Davis prepared to pot the blue, in making the first 147 break on television.
