Since i didnt manage to get a date with Danny or Drlog tonight ( oops , i've just noticed i've always ate the "o" there , and called ya Drlg ), i had a meeting with Alex and we played our match.
Maybe its a bit earlier for a 5 round match , but better earlier than late .

Final score was Ellena 6 - 2 Alex. Alex was a bit unlucky in the first frame , when he potted both black and white in the end... should have been his game that one... I am not good with comments ..so i will stop .. Was a good match on the whole. Ty Alex ..and GL for the next ones .

Bit of a hard week for me also. I worked all weekend installing computers and the next four days I'll also be working. In what little free time I do have, I'll be very tired and spending as much time as I can with the mrs. Things should be back to normal next week though.

Fortunately, my back is mending quite nicely. Turns out I had acid reflux which made everything in my upper torso hurt like the dickens.

Ellena and myself have just played.

I started off well, and surprised myself with a very good clearance in the first frame. From there I never looked back, playing confidently and flamboyantly, aided by an Ellena who was completely out of sorts. I soon stormed into a 4-0 lead.

The crucial 5th frame was a bit more tricky. I bottled frame ball. But was somehow then given a second chance which I didnt miss, to make it 5-0. Then safe in the knowledge of a secured win, I relaxed too much allowing Ellena to easily win 2 on the bounce.

I finally got the last frame for a 6-2 win.

I just finished my game with Danny, final score danny 5 - 3 Nina.
I took the lead 2-0, then Danny won 3 in a row, and I only managed to snatch one more before he sealed his victory.
It was a good game on the whole, thank you Danny and good luck in the next gaems.

Well I just had a titanic encounter with AG. There was grinding, missing, everything you could hope for if you are a fan of the epic Griffiths/Thorburn encounters of yesteryear.

Luckily for chasmmi fans, he managed to just about scrape over the line despite some dogged resistance from the assiduous Austrian to finally prevail 5-3.

Sadly for chasmmi though, it looks like more of the same in his next match when he takes on the "The boss of Bore", "The tyrant of tiresome", "The sultan of Stale"... Davis greatest
