Just finished my final league match. I played dannyd0g and it was a tense and tough match. Danny took the first three frames playing well although I gifted him one frame by potting the black. At 3-0 I pulled one back before two incredible slices of luck helped me level at 3-3. First danny potted the black ball and then secondly looking like the easy winner he potted both black and white to hand me the frame. Next frame a good clearance from me put ahead for the first time at 4-3 before grinding out the last frame and take the match 5-3.

Alex you really have potentially caused some total confusion :P we could be in for play offs here.
DGE, Ranan and Ellena are likely to go past you, leaving you, Marc and Elvaago fighting for the last place.
Thing is that if Elvaago draws with me then you have the exact same record, including head to head and so a one frame play off will come into play for the semi spot.
Thing is though too is that if Marc beats Ellena 5-3 then you have the exact same record, including head to head and so a one frame play off will come into play for the semi spot.
Something to keep in mind is that if both of the above happens then Elvaago will go through as your three way head to head looks like:
Elvaago W1 D1 L0
Alex0paul W0 D2 L0
Marc W0 D1 L1

well amazing scenes in the pool room this morning, the low ranked log has just gone toe to toe with davis greatest. run, luck and some amazing shot sellection saw him power into a 4.0 lead only to be pegged back in the 5th with some quite stunning pots by davis,4.1 could have turned 4.2 but poor luck again robbed davis and the log stepped up to take the match
the session ended up 6.2 to the log
thanks go to davis for making the match enjoyable it was worth getting up so early on a sunday morning to speak to himSo it's Rorschach and Prozac and everything is groovy

Another result just in - keeping to pattern dannyd0g looses again 3 frames to 5.
This time DG is the victor. The game saw a rather more attacking DG tonight stringing together several good breaks and clearances. A dannyd0g badly lacking in form and confidence now just didnt string enough pots together to compete effectiveley.
Congrats DG. Best of luck with your remaining matches."You can shove your snooker up your jacksie 'cos I aint playing no more!" Alex Higgins.
