Davis's position is an interesting one as two losses will probably knock him out as Alex. Ellena and Ranan will all overtake. So an Elvaago Draw, Marc Victory or Dr Log winning two out of three should (barring some highly irregular thrashings) she davis fall out of the top 4.

Interestingly now DR Log comes into play after being bottom before yesterday. If he can score 5 points or more he is through I would guess.

assuming that Alex's finishing score could be a cut off point, here is what would happen if other people finish on the same score and FD.

Alex + Elvaago = Elvaago through (Matches won)

Alex and Marc = Play off frame

Alex and Dr Log = Dr Log if he has two wins, Play off if he has two draws.

Alex, Elvaago and Marc = Elvaago (matches won) then play off frame for the others.

Alex, MArc, Dr Log = Dr Log (if he wins twice) three way play off if he draws twice)

Alex, Marc, Elvaago, Drlog = Dr Log (if he wins twice) followed by elvaago. or Elvaago (if DRlog draws twice) followed by three way play off.

That would put you top as things stand with an FD of +8. that could be enough to go through if Elvaago doesn't win, or marc doesn't win big.

I would say a win and a draw should guarentee you place unless something seriously horrible like an 8-0 defeat happnes in that last game.


In fact there are only 5 people capable of reaching 12 points and you play two of them (Dr log and DGE)

Drlog and I just finished our game. It was a good, close match, each taking a lead only to draw in the following frame. Final score, Drlog 4 - 4 Nina.

I enjoyed the match, and the chatting (which some might say we did too much of ).
That was the last match for me too, I'm pretty sure I remain at the bottom of the list, now I can sit back and relax and maybe place some bets on the finalists...

I just played my match against Ellena and it ended 4-4...

it was destined to end that way right from the start. We never were more than one frame apart. Whenever someone took a frame, the other one came back even stronger. The standard of match was pretty high (*pats Ellena and myself on shoulder*). We had some great runs, good tactical thinking, tight positional play, fantastic splits and a very generous Yahoo! Balls ran through other balls, didn't touch other balls at all when they should have and the white generously rattled in the jaws but hardly ever dropped. However, it only happened with safety play, so it doesn't really take anything away from us.

I'd like to congratulate Ellena who is a fierce competitor. It was a joy to play against her and I wish her good luck for the rest of her matches (although she doesn't need it).
