In case I reach the semis what are the length of the matches frame-wise? Is it best of 11 then 17 for the final or less?

That's what we had last time around. But we had matches with 6 frames instead of 8 back then too. So I'm not actually sure what we're doing this time.

I'm all in favour of best of 11 and then best of 17 though. Worked well.

Earlier this morning i finally had my meeting with the pool queen, And once again i got of to a slow start as i have done in all my matches and Lady Ellena was 3-0 up before i knew it.. she hardly missed a ball and the 2nd frame she played a brilliant double on the black which should be a contender for shot of the championship..
The 4th frame she broke up the balls and she then had to finally sit in her seat and watch in utter disbelief as i cleared the table to pull a frame back.

5th frame once again she had her potting shoes on and won the frame on the black to lead 4-1..

The 6th frame i played well, and i managed to get Ellena in some tight corners and won the frame with a long pot on the black to make it 4-2..

The 7th frame was another close affair, i got off to a good start, but with a brilliant clearence of 6 balls including the black,it was obvious the pool queen was on tip top form (even ronnie would of been proud ) The final frame didnt really matter as i was beaten and out of the league but i played well enough to win it to make the final score 5-3

Well done Ellena you played brilliant against me (like you always do) I played well in stages, but my game wasnt as consistent as i would of liked. Best of luck in the semifinal too ya, and good luck and well done to everyone else

Lol Marc.. nice report . Anyway , " pool queen" is to much said , dont think i deserve such a nik-name. And speaking of nicks ..would be nice if all who played in the League had one...
I am glad i managed to play all my matches in the first round ..finally..I got it its 100% sure i will play Alex in the semis - i am looking forward to it. If Elva wins his last match and i get in the final...hmm.. i will have to play against either him or Ranen .. Both are eager to revenge lol - Rane for the first round match in this League and Elva for the first League final.. so poor me!

It's not 100% sure you will play Alex. If I lose to Chasmmi (and I do this all the time) then you will play DGE in the semis and RaNeN or Alex in the final!

sorry folks cant seem to get my last game played have tried to arrange but with one thing and another we never seem to be online at the same time having looked at the table would it not make sense to make our game a draw of which would not change the table and would get the semis match closer just a thought

I have just now purchased a computer which should arrive at my home tomorrow and should also therfore be internet capable tomorrow night.

Sunday evening may very well work for me. I'm off all day Monday and Tuesday too. Not Wednesday, I'm in Amsterdam all day then. Thursday and Friday once again is all good.
