Still at work, but leaving soon , and it'll be interesting to see how they get on now Becks is back, [for this friendly game anyway], although not sure if we've beaten them too many times?, think we've lost the last 5 or 6 matches against them.

And won't predict any score as I always get it wrong.

As McLaren hasd picked such a slow and defensive side I expect one result. A 3-1 win for Brazil. Beckham should never have been brought back and I hope and pray that David Bently starts on the right wing.

I agree with your comments about Mclaren, not my choice of manager, however :

beckham is the best right winger in the world, even the spanish cant believe he can be dropped from the international team. My view is you should always played your strongest side, hence Beckham even at 30 is still by far the most dangerous crosser of a ball.
I hope he has a fantastic game tonight and shows mclaren that he was an idiot to drop him

Yes of course he is the best crosser of the ball but he is so slow and when you consider th press and fans ranting over the style of play what you shouldn't do is bring someone in to make tempo even slower. Plus its a quick fix as next season he wont be able to play any England games because they clash with LA Galaxy conference football style games.

I think becks is in a win win situation, La Galaxy cannot stop him playing friendlies for england under FIFA rules, hence they could not put a clause in his contract as such. LA Galaxy are paying him many millions to play, so , they are pretty powerless in stopping him playing for his country as he has a 5 year(i think) contract with LA Galaxy, if they break the contract - they have to pay him

............thanks for that, and just watched on the news that all the Brazilian fans are in London, [I think near Piccadilly], celebrating.

Hopefully a great match, although last time I started a thread on off topic chat, 'FA Cup Final Chelsea v Man Utd', it wasn't such a brilliant game, so hopefully we won't be jinxed.
