Now the general public and MPs will have to acknowledge just what the decent muslims in this country have to put up with everyday; attacks by BF all the time. For many years people have been fooled by these idiots into thinking they are simply patriotic types offended by too much muslim identity in the country. Now we see they are murderers just like the muslim extremists. To me, this whole debate has been laced with xenophobia and this is where it leads. Well done Farage and co., look what you've helped to whip up, allbeit indirectly. Farage says foreigners will come here and rape our women. Will he now say that our own Brits in BF will kill our women and should be thrown out as well? This is what happens when knuckle draggers believe every dire warning of scare mongerers like Farage and Johnson. Next up it will 'oh, he just a madman, nothing to do with normal BF supporters; except by definition, they're all nuts. And UKIP are only one step away from these fruits on the political scale. It was an asian man who went to her assistance.
This lady worked for refugee rights and was a bremain campaigner. Make no mistake, this was no local or random murder of this mom and MP.
RIP Jo Cox.Last edited by Cannonball; 16 June 2016, 05:52 PM.

Is Britain first an actual movement? I have never heard of them, I just thought it was something he shouted off the top of his head so to speak( if indeed he did say that, as eye witnesses have said they didnt hear him shout it,so it's still unconfirmed). This is how you play darts ,MVG two nines in the same match!

One of them was once Turkey is allowed into the EU there will be 25 million Turks emigrating to the UK. What they forgot to mention was that Turkey has been applying to get into the EU for the past 30 years and have only met 1 of the 15 requirements to prove they are a democracy. Even if they did that at that rate it will take them around 400 years to get in and then any country (maybe Greece) can object and keep them out.
The thing about Turkey is they have already been promised free movement of people without visas across Europe for helping with the immigration crisis and letting us have bases to bomb Syria from. The vote to allow this is a day or two after the brexit vote( coincidence?) it will just be waived through. Like all politicians what Cameron has said isn't a lie but it's a way of not telling the truth, when he says Turkey is decades away from joining the EU, while this is true, they will be given ,free movement , trading rights etc all without officially joining.
Here is a nice fairly balanced article on the EUs stance and our "support" to let Turkey into the Eu, either way they are getting free movement across Europe ( except for us, but if they can get to France they will be here in numbers going by past experience)

MPs get constant threats from BF all the time on social media, press and by other comms. And BF have vowed to 'get' Mayor Khan already. But on no, it's got nothing to do with us they say. UKIP will say the same but even if this is true directly, what does all the xenophobia and racial hatred result in, frienzied fruits like this guy. Leave have been repeatedly warned throughout the campaign that their language was inflamatory. When you vote to leave, you're also voting for the leave politicians to run your country because Cameron et al. will be toast if they lose. Have a think about that because there's already someone dead because of the alternative govt.. I hope the public aren't stupid and can suss this out.
Europe was in the biggest crisis of its history twice last century and we saved that continent. We didn't walk away. Why do we have to keep saving them from themselves? The EU treaty needs saving again and we'll have to spearhead this effort and save the continent from more self-inflicted mess. We do so because we are British. We don't run and we don't hide. The EU is a mess but a Britain that runs away from a problem isn't a Britain worth living in whether it's in the EU or not. Compared to what our grandparents had to sacrifice in the war years, this is a drop in the ocean. There are too many entitled pansies for my liking in the UK. It's time for Britains to man up and face the EU problems and change Europe once more because we ain't cowards.
Stand.

I think you have gone a bit far there CB, MPs will get threats from all sorts of wing nuts, all the time, while in no way a supporter of ukip, there are plenty who are ,( was it 20% of the vote they got in the GL?)so maybe this country is far more racist than you care to think. As for this act being the fault of anyone except the mental person who did it ,does that mean the soldier who was beheaded or the attempting beheading of the musician in the tube station are the fault of Cameron and Gideon? Of course not, just more vile acts by nutters.
The thing is with Europe, no one wants to turn their backs on them, but we signed up to be trading nations, not for what it has become and certainly not the European superstate that those on the continent are openly pushing. There is no reforming it, we have tried, they aren't interested, they have their vision and we will have to go along with it if we want to remain, it may be great, but it's just as big a risk to stay, if not bigger ,than to leave. There probably will be an economic shock when we leave, but in ten years time we will have recovered ,where will Europe be? From what I see not in the best of health, and if we stay they may just have dragged us down with them. This is how you play darts ,MVG two nines in the same match!

You sound like many a Nat in Scotland. We need to leave, we can be richer, England is dragging us down. Where does it end, separate regions and counties as well? Marriages aren't always rosy and the grass can look greener but it rarely is. It doesn't matter about the EU institutions we dislike and distrust. We are a part of Europe and we need to influence it and change it for the better. They're on our doorstep, we can't ignore them even if we want to so we may as well change them.
When Lee Rigby was killed by a schizophrenic psycopath is was muslim terrorism.
Today the Sun called the Mair guy a loner with mental issues. Nothing at all to do with terrorism inspired by far right, anti-EU parties eh?

That's the media for you, they will put their own spin on it, both those acts were done by mentally ill people, whatever wagon they hitch their ideas to, it's just a way for them to justify their barbaric actions. For one it was religion the other hatred of foreigners, but in reality ,it was just awfull acts by ill people.
Tell me one thing we have influenced Europe over, give me a list of things Europe wanted that we have managed to stop them? They don't want reformed they want further integration, the superstate is their goal, that's what you are agreeing to, wether you like it or not, some do ,others don't, I think there are reasonable arguments on both sides, the only thing I object to is the doom and gloom fear smears, if you want us to vote remain, tell us the bennifits ,the positives, but there hasn't been any sign of it ,it's like the remain are telling us we are not good enough to look after ourselves, like we are just a pimple on the side of Europe, well I think we are more than that, there is a whole world to trade with, without having to go through the EU so every single country in it gets the same trade deals, that's why everything takes decades, it just a bureaucratic nightmare. This is how you play darts ,MVG two nines in the same match!

My favourite players: Walter Lindrum (AUS), Neil Robertson (AUS), Eddie Charlton (AUS), Robby Foldvari (AUS), Vinnie Calabrese (AUS), Jimmy White, Stephen Hendry, Alex Higgins, Ronnie O'Sullivan, Dominic Dale and Barry Hawkins.
I dream of a 147 (but would be happy with a 100)
