NO, it's because those two dummies of ADR and Wity had been banned from another forum and they think they are the cream of the humanity, tortured by some mighty mod elsewhere....waahhh...**insert joke** come on....this thread is becoming an utter joke...

Now it keeps on going with bad jokes or references to the French people...woohoo...what's the link ??? such a high level guys...and still no moderators around. Great.

The problem is that ADR and Wity are trying to put all the blame on TS moderator for having been banned...which is really disgusting considering that they are responsible of their own ban. But they prefer to act like kiddos just out of school...

umm thats not my reading of it at all - another dig at me and as yet none from me to you notice. incidently my wife is french so you did not hear any negative reference to the french from me. your choice of language and attitude might indicate i am not the young one here - someone show me where i have been anything but good natured friendly and polite and i will be happy to edit it. so far it would appear that there are people out there who are determined to be less than friendly towards me at any opportunity. and yes i am getting a bit fed up of it. if you choose not understand my posts erwan or if you unfortunately don't take those that are meant in good humour as such, then really that is your problem - there has been nothing nasty, aggressive, malevolent, critical or in any way unpleasant in any of them. the same can not be said for yours.

It's sad to see how a guy professing himself to be a historian, and anti nazi, has the gaul to defend the dictatorial actions of a goon in charge of a public forum.

Sadder still that he finds a picture of one of Britains best loved comedians Freddy Star to be offensive.

But the saddest point of all is his dummy fell down the drain when he threw it from his pram.

Well I was hoping the Goon was a member here also and would at least have said something in defense of his little dictatorship he runs over there. He did say he knew of ADR and me if i remember right when after we were banned Ewan slagged us both off in their thread. Shame really, the little goon aint got no balls let alone the one of Himler.

To put the record straight, as i often do when i come across a forum i might like I join up and read a fair bit before i consider posting, just to get the feel of the place and it's regulars as anyone does when they go to a new pub they might consider their local. Lurking they call it or as Ewan calls it "whispering" probably because English not being his native tongue.

In this perticular thread I saw Ewan himself had posted a pic of a tip he had fitted to his cue, and this goon says the fibres are all damaged because of over excessive filing. Jeez this guy must be Superman with x ray vision I thought as there was no way any normal sighted person could tell if it was even leather let alone with damaged fibres from that picture.

Next time I looked the goon had posted that Blue Diamond tips were laminated and I just laughed to myself. Later i saw ADR had posted and had been given a ticking off as though he were a child. I looked at the profile of this goon and saw he was only a kid himself and also from his post it was plain he was good at arcade games as he was top in most held on the site.

My one and only post was aimed to him.. "I was thinking this site was a decent one but clearly you ought to stick to arcade games rather than snooker which you obviously know little about"

Result was I was banned instantly.

If that aint the actions of a jumped up arsehole on a power trip I dunno what the hell is.

Although banned I could see Ewan had replied and naturally I was curious so I signing up again with a different nick and again was instantly banned. I then asked a mate in Germany to sign up and give me his details to use and it was then i saw that ADR had also been banned and Ewan was there gloating and slagging us both off. Cant honestly remember what he said as half way through reading the drivel I was banned again. Should have used a proxy but hey I'd seen enough to know what idiots they both were.

I think James has a lot more important things to do in his private life than wasting his time discussing with two biased blokes unable to admit the true reasons of their ban. And so am I. I left primary school a loooong time ago...

I've been in London for a couple of days, but yes this thread's clearly gone off the rails. It didn't really belong here from the first post.

TSF and Talksnooker are polar opposites regarding moderation, in both cases it's a deliberate choice. They run a very tight ship at the expense of some freedom and diversity, we largely don't interfere at the expense of some quality. Both have their merits and members are of course free to make their choice or use both. Just don't expect one to react like the other. (Wity expected tolerance there for insulting a mod, I think Erwan expects the fist to come down here for this thread, neither is going to happen).

I know that James and Steve read these boards but officially Curtis banned them after a disagreement and to their credit they seem to have respected that refrained from posting. I've now lifted the ban, but I don't think there's any need for them to defend themselves, they run their forum the way they choose and to be fair it's produced some quality discussion.

By the way Erwan - I'm not sure whether you're aware but 'little Hitler' is a pretty common expression (in the UK) to describe someone who's strict, it's not really meant to be taken literally, even if it is illustrated. I can see how it could be more deeply offensive but I don't believe that was the intention at all.

Anyway, since this thread was never a good idea and is certainly now out of hand and not producing anything productive or entertaining I'm going to close it. As usual feel free to send your complaints to my PM inbox .
