I have not been there, but I am now lucky to have BBC 3 and The Editors were absolutely awesome!

I would prefer to watch it on telly these days having become a boring old fart. Even so I still managed to miss Iggy Pop and the Stooges although I was especially looking out for them. I'm sure they would have been great and guarenteed to show all the "shoe gazers" how to put on a performance - especially if they did The Passenger.
Did manage to catch the Kaiser Chiefs though - great version of Oh My God to end.
I guess it is very commercial now compared to how it used to be. I'm glad I made it there twice in my younger years - in 1991 and 1994 : before the time of massive security, huge fences, and CCTV. When it was all New Age Travellers and The Levellers etc. Nowadays its more cash machines and mobile phone charging areas and Corporate Sponsorship everywhere. They even have drugs sniffer dogs now this year. Bet the poor mutts wouldnt have known which way to turn a few years ago."You can shove your snooker up your jacksie 'cos I aint playing no more!"
