  • The best band at Glastonbury?

I have not been there, but I am now lucky to have BBC 3 and The Editors were absolutely awesome!

I wish i had of been there

The Editors were good, they are one of my favourites too, as were babyshambles, the killers, the kooks, coral..

I think the kiaser chiefs are playing today.

Anybody not got bbc3 can watch some of the acts on here.

The Killers are one of my favourite bands so was great to see them and i thought the Editors were excellent too.

Ive always fancied going to Glastonbury but snooker has always taken priority with my finances!

Yep the Klaxons were really good. Rodrigo and Gabriela are worth watching on the BBC6 website.

I would prefer to watch it on telly these days having become a boring old fart. Even so I still managed to miss Iggy Pop and the Stooges although I was especially looking out for them. I'm sure they would have been great and guarenteed to show all the "shoe gazers" how to put on a performance - especially if they did The Passenger.

Did manage to catch the Kaiser Chiefs though - great version of Oh My God to end.

I guess it is very commercial now compared to how it used to be. I'm glad I made it there twice in my younger years - in 1991 and 1994 : before the time of massive security, huge fences, and CCTV. When it was all New Age Travellers and The Levellers etc. Nowadays its more cash machines and mobile phone charging areas and Corporate Sponsorship everywhere. They even have drugs sniffer dogs now this year. Bet the poor mutts wouldnt have known which way to turn a few years ago.

I hated them before I saw them live at Glastonbury and have really changed my opinion of them now.

The Killers were shît as always

I have it the other way round - Killers were superior to the Arctic Monkeys.

                          Gossip were good also.
