I guess we can't be very objective when it comes to sportspeople from our country. I know I can't!
I know Nina - as if she didn't have to play and do her best to win Wimbledon. -we almost gave her the status 'untouchable'. She could only disappoint us, and winning Wimbledon would have been considered as 'logic'. She is doing a fantastic job in tennis and we Belgians tend to forget this when she loses.
And more important at the end of the day it s only a game of tennis...
Bit late now, but I've just found that studavis' snooker player thing is pretty good for tennis too . But I suppose the BBC will have other stuff to show at some point or other.

I know what you mean, we did the same here with the football team after the 2004 Euro and with many other athletes after the Olympics. The pressure on them is enormous, and they are only people after all... they are bound to lose sooner or later.
Justine Henin-Hardenne has a wonderful career and you are right to be proud of her...
Back on topic, I am hoping Nadal wins the final but I have a feeling Federer will snatch this title too...
