I can't believe I didn't see the final. It must have been a classic. I thought that Federer would kill Nadal off, esp. as it's on grass. Surprised it went to a 5th set.

Anyways, I'm so happy for Federer. Hopefully he can finally win the French Open one day, maybe even all majors in one season. Come on Roger, take the Slam!!!

Federer did well to win that one, I suppose Nadal's injury didn't help him any.

5 times in a row. Will he win 6?

Well done Federer - 5 in a row!!

I watched the final today - I've never been a huge federer fan although there's no doubt he is currently the best tennis player in the world. But today I found myself wanting him to win so badly and i actually got pretty involved in the match. So looks like I've got a new 2nd fave tennis player!!

Should they not make a deduction from Federers winnings as he had a walkover for one match and has therefore played less matches?

seriously tho, I thought he would win it. Federer is arguably one ofthe best players (if not the best) that has ever played on grass. He will no doubt be odds on to win it for the 6th time next year!

Great final, incredible how close it was. I thought Federer will win it easier but Nadal's strenght of character kept him there.
The difference between them on grass is still pretty big, but Nadal is learning and in a few years he could win the tournament.
I think Federer is on his way to become the Greatest of them all, and one day he will win Roland Garros and no one will have anything to say anymore about the fact that he is the most complete player in tennis history
