Your Joking surely !! Got a link or anything on that?

BTW. It was calculated that the basic rate of tax would have to be 40% to compensate for lost tax revenue on tobacco. but That was a while ago before so many of us decided to pay them bugger all and smoke botlegged baccy. An extra 9% may be the up to date figure but whatever it is the loss is x number of times what they spend on the NHS (It was 4 times i think))

Ahah it is true. Apparently the bar is within a royal palace and guess whats exempt ?

If it wern't in a royal palace though I'd bet anything they would not have been made exempt. Its always been the cheapest place to drink in England as it's tax exempt too.

Politicians bah no wonder so few bother to vote they are all the same two faced lying gits intent on only lining their own pockets. It's amazing how they get away with it.

I think i'll write a letter of complaint to Sir Humphrey he and his lot really rule the country and let the mp's (short for muppetts) have such perks.

Sir Humphrey? For those that dont know have a google using "Yes Minister" The best comedy tv prog ever produced in Britain so funny yet so true.

Excellent post, eventhough i'm a smoker myself (ashamed of it to be perfectly honest ) i think it's too bad i don't have enough posts to back me up to rep u but believe me the thought is there and i totally agree. I for one am working on quitting not just for my sake but for the sake of the loved ones as well... I don't want my family suffering the consequences of my smoking, be it second hand smoking or having to see me with an ill condition.
If someone else thinks this is worth negative rep, be my guest and gimme more negative reps... like i really care about those points but the next time u do it, at least have the balls to say who u are but it's obvious, ain't it?

        - If being friendly to someone who's been affected by the negative consequences of smoking is worth negative rep, so be it.

        - If admiting that i'm ashamed i'm a smoker coz i don't want to negatively affect my family and be the worst role model to my 2 year old son is worth negative rep, so be it.

        - If wanting/trying to quit smoking for the sake of yourself & your family is worth negative rep, so be it.

I really think this is pathetic. I ain't worried about those points, i made some good friends on this forum, something i'm proud of and i am having a great time too For all it's worth, i'm sure i'll be making more friends in the near future, something self-centered, pathetic and delusional ppl can't & won't achieve.

I wonder why u allow yourself to get personally upset about things written (about you ) on a forum even by 'strangers', just remember the real world is outside this forum. Forums are great to discuss and have fun - but getting upset about what is written here ? no way.
I saw that going differently in my mind
