It is amazing that you know so much stuff Paul! I really have no idea which type of raisins this rosé is made of. It is a pity that my relevant knowledge about wine remains zero all the time, maybe should think of taking over my neighbour's vigne to start to learn!

La Palma rose from chile is one of my favourites and Chateau puy servaine, Bergerac, but cannot get the last one here.
Salut!

Berolina, when you are not staying too far from The Alsace, visit The Muellenbach cellars in Niedermorschwir. Wonderful wines and they are so charming, you'll be walking upside down out of the cellar!. Oops, sorry, just noticed you are in Berlin!
I love it! And I love visiting the caves.
I've stored them
Its more about reading and I pop in on the Beeb food board once in a while. There is a distinguished member IanisinFrance (lives in the dordogne) who has been a manager of wine cellars for 20 years. Learn a lot from him and very friendly suave type! .

Albente Irpinia Bianco
i bought a case of this recently on a recommendation from a friend who is an italian wine importer, works out at £10 a bottle and it is superb, like a complex pinot grigio - easily one of the nicest non french white wines i have ever come across but needs to be cold. i had it with a seafod pasta and the 8 people at the table all agreed it was stunning.

Interesting. I have read recently there are some good quality wines coming up in the south of italy. Silicy started to produce some excellent wines as well over the last 5 years (For instance Mandrarossa estate). I recently had a superb white one from Sardinie, Santadi Villa Volais Vermentino di Sardegna. 7 quid.
Just looked on the web, but think cannot get yours here.
Cheers!

not tried the sardine one but i might give that a go - the sicilly ones are often a bit heavy for me.

i didn't mean that - just a general thought i was having - i sort of know my way around the french wines but not so hot elsewhere, its a good excuse to go wine shopping!
