Just had a bit of a chuckle over this spam message I quite like the 1st line - "I am banker in a bank...." surely these people could think up something more realistic and run a more sophisticated grammar check?

    -----------

    Good day,

My name is Willam Parker, I am a senior banker in a bank here in the United Kingdom. I am contacting you for a business transfer, of a huge sum of money from a deceased account.

Though I know that a transaction of this magnitude will make any one apprehensive and worried, but I am assuring you that everything documents that will bring about the success of this transaction would be provided, and all will be well at the end of the day. I decided to contact you due to the urgency of this transaction.

The deceased person who died Neal Walker died in an air crash along with his wife on the 31st October 1999 in an Egyptian airline 990 with other passengers on board was an American Oil consultant/contractor with the Chinese Solid Minerals Corporation.

You can confirm his death from the website below which was published by

I've had a few of these and they are full of spelling and basic grammar errors. If they want to swindle hard earned money out of gullible people they could at least have the common decency to put in some time and effort. If I was conned I would draw some comfort from it being a sophisticated operation.

actually spam I receive to my work email is always making me smile. don't know why, but apparently they think I'm an old, rich man with a small ..ahem, right, I just analysed a bit the offers they're sending me maybe I should mail them back and ask them to send me the mailing list as I'm an old and poor lady? some addresses of old and rich millionaires would be handy. (and besides, I've been told the size doesn't matter )

Hum ... Some of those "spelling mistakes" are deliberate ... to cheat some "content filters" that would block those pages when performing some search or syndication

Didn't know that! I'm sure there must be a more imaginative workaround
