On the way home from work yesterday I was crossing a junction and someone decided to ignore a red light and slammed in to my car. I span around and hit a set of traffic lights. Most importantly no-one was injured but my beautiful car is a write-off. While waiting for emergency services I bought a packet of cigerettes.

I've got some left and as they are no use to me now (not stressed anymore) I'll probably put them on ebay.

During my lunch on Friday I saw a car that had ploughed through some lights and ripped them out the ground. That looked serious as there were a few ambulances on the scene. I just dented them slightly which caused some damage to the bonnet. I keep thinking maybe if it had been raining the wheels wouldn't have been as damaged as they are but then again I might not have been able to manuver the car the way that I did. I missed some railings which could have made it a lot worse. The annoying thing is the other driver didn't seem to make any attempt to break or steer out the way. If she did she would have missed me.

I was actually driving through a reserved zone that carries 3 points penalty when it occured but the 3 police officers who attended didn't say anything! Maybe they didn't notice. I hope the insurance assesor is equally unobservant.

Also, it was near a bus station and there were packed busses going past constantly. Out of hundreds of people that drove past while there was an ambulance there just one girl pointed and started laughing. I wonder how her life will pan out.
