Although I abhor Chelsea I think this is the wrong decision for football. Chelsea have apparently had crisis meetings?!

They have won the Premiership with Mourinho twice in the last 3 years and the first title was their first league win for 50 years. At home Chelsea are unbeaten in something like 90 games!

It's just mad. Okay, he hasn't done that well in the CL - but clubs needs some consistency. Take spurs for example - Jol has guided them to two 5th place finishes and because of a bad start his job is apparently on the line.

Club chairman these days need to take a step back and think about getting results over the long-term. As a spurs fan finishing: 5th, 5th, 10th (this year) and then 5th again would be a good sign.

I think Mourinho's exit from Chelsea is going to make the premiership as boring as it was prior to his arrival in the premiership. As a liverpool supporter, i think he eas a top coach, and even with all his superstar players, he still had to make them perform together. Abramovich is an idiot for letting him go/forcing him out.
