the main reason i have a disinterest in cricket is that it takes sooo long in between the action...not that i want them to play the game quicker when actually bowling etc, but that in between bowls and overs etc seems to "not flow"

With the Twenty20 matches you actually see bowlers running back to their mark to bowl again.

It's a different games from the test-matches. I would reccomend to go to an international match - you would appreciate the game far more than watching a few snippets of action on TV.
