    ON or OFF topic!!!!

    This is spot on the snooker topic but no relivant place to post it, maybe a snooker website category would be a good idea!!!

    I'm looking for some good RSS or XML news feeds for snooker and snooker only and not the ones offered by the BBC the desired feed would hold the results of major competitions or player rankins qould be a good one any suggestions?

    affernoon mr.ferret, bit of a string to our bow to have you onboard methinks; I've not read up on RSS feeds and xml, but a site I discovered a few weeks ago is http://www.newsnow.co.uk/newsfeed/?name=Snooker
    Is this the kind of knowledge oracle you're looking for?

            Sure am, that's in (Old) Welwyn, 5 mins up the road; Ferret 'astral traveller'!!
            Is your club the one in Swindon that hosts some important Pro-Am comps and things? A few of our league players have played in a Jesters Club in your direction.
            Nice website BTW, really promotes a Professional feel to the Club. I've not put my little Angelfire URL up on my profile yet, THERE's JUST NO NEED!

              Cool my mate used to be the landlord there, he's now got The Fox Inn down the road.

              Yeah we used to host quite a few of the big competitions, we were voted 2nd best snooker hall in the UK a few years back :-) The big comps dont come to us anymore They have built there own venue or somthing.

              I glad you like the website, the new one is going to be even better, we are making it accessable for people with disabilities like people who can't use a mouse or are visualy impaired.

              I'll PM you a link if you want a sneeky peek at the new design :-)
