KLUANG: A 31-year-old woman died after she was believed to have been hit with a fire extinguisher in her office, a snooker centre, in Taman Sri Kluang here yesterday.
Police are withholding her identity as investigations are under way.
State police deputy Criminal Investigation Department chief Superintendent Raja Shahrom Raja Abdullah said the victim was believed to have been alone when at least two suspects bashed her up.
A blood-stained fire extinguisher was found near the body.
"We have yet to establish the motive as we are investigating," said Raja Shahrom.
The victim's body was found sprawled in a pool of blood by her sister-in-law who went to deliver food at 11am.
It is understood that police recorded statements from two witnesses who saw two men rushing out from the premises in the morning.
It is also learnt that there were several patrons who walked in and out of the snooker centre without realising that the woman had been murdered.
Damnn, u shouldnt expect to have that if you work at a snooker hall!
