Well, a bit different from what I've seen so far on this subject, here are my favorite film makers, in no particular order:

Cohen Brothers, Krzysztof Kieslowski, Andrei Tarkovski, Werner Herzog, Lindsay Anderson, Luis Buñuel, Spike Jonze, and Federico Fellini.

Wow! They are a lot...at firsts of Fabruary the final list.

It must be written 10 films in order. If it´s not in order not quallifying.

In other hand someone just wrote 9 films instead 10

                                my Favourite

                                1. Ben-Hur (classis starring Charlton Heston)
                                2. Braveheart (wonderful story, scenery and acting - the 2 lady leads weren't bad to look at either)
                                3. Ace Ventura (laughted right through)
                                4. The Lion King (just wonderful)
                                5. Shawshank Redemption (great feelgood story)
                                6. The Godfather
                                7. The Matrix (the special effects blew me away)
                                8. Apocalypso (very violent, but worth the watch)
                                9. Bram Stoker's Dracula (watched it alone in the dark - wasn't very smart)
                                10. Sin City (great effects)
