  • New Year's Resolutions!

Most of us make them but never keep them, probably because we promise ourselves too many things that are too difficult to live up to. I am infamous for that, so this year I'm going to follow the golden rule I picked up at a stress management seminar: set goals that are manageable and I can achieve.

So, the general idea for me this year will be re-evaluation and organisation. It starts with your home, your computer, your work material, and then move on to people: who stays and who goes.

Have you made any resolutions yet?

Happy New Year Nina I hope 2008 is the best yet for you. x

I'm going to do much less of what I do to excess and a little more of that which I do too little

Work hard at my new job, do more for charity and build up a repertois of piano pieces. (I'm thinking about busking in the summer for a local charity called Animals In Need)

Maybe create a portfolio/CV and resolve to go to a few auditions for singing/acting roles. Play Snooker with a more cautious attitude. Do more for my family. Surprise my grandmother with something. See how my mum cooks. Be more patient with my dad. Take the dogs out for walkies more and make it worthwhile not just for 10 minutes. Eat more healthy. Learn more about cultures. Value time better. I'm going to launch in to that Suncream song in a minute lol.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE. I HOPE IT GOES WITH A BANG!!!

Well Done to MrRottweiler for aiming to help charities. That can help Snooker and other Cue Sports, if it is PoolBilliard, Snooker or Bar Billiards!! Any Cue Sport because it gives your mind something else to concentrate on. When you practise Snooker, you have a fresh mind, fresh from Cue Sports, then you can concentrate on a positive attitude right from the start, instead of a negative attitude already there.

I plan to pay my bills when they are due, not 1 or 2 weeks later , do more workout than in 2007 which is quite easy because 1 day of workout in 2008 will be more than I did last year (well, even 1 hour is more ), eat less chocolate/crisps/candys and get myself a nice guy

My resolutions are to eat and drink more. Exercise less. Be less nice to people, and be more lazy, disorganised and de-motivated.
