....yes, racing in wet conditions is difficult, and I also think you can measure a driver's capabilities by how he performs in such conditions. Not easy, the most delicate car control and sensitivity are needed.

Both Michael and Ayrton have had some of their best performances driving in rainy weather, both have a very good record.

One of Ayrton's tactics as well, which he adopted later, was not to change into rain tyres at the start of the rain, but to keep racing using slick tyres. Although it made racing much more difficult, he often gained several seconds ahead of the other drivers because most of them were stopping to change to rain tyres.

    Lol....xx

Kimi said he didn't know what happened with the engine either, so hope all sorted out for next week in Malaysia.

I hope ferrari can get sorted for next week too....but i have bad gut feelings and i dont think this is the same Ferrari team I watched in the Shumacher/Brawn/era. In those days reliability was exceptional and they were a class of their own.. the mistakes kimi made today spinning on tracks etc schumacher never made them at all, or very rarely and i think the team functioned like clockwork and engine failures almost never happened at all back then.

Sure this race was a disaster for ferrari today, but on a brighter note, this is only the first race of the season and kimi did unbeliavable last year coming from so far behind, so really this is nothing when you compare it to last year.

Something just tells me this is mclarens year tho.......

So, the second race went differently. Ferrari returned inspite of much fuss (Todd ie) and Kimi won. Also remarkable the coolness of Kovalainen & Kubica.
Otherwise the race was a bit procedure like, without much racing as I expected earlier. I missed the rain.

....another text-book win for Kimi Raikonnen in Barcelona, 17th grand prix win, and leading with 29 points. And great finish for Lewis too, 3rd, and just 9 points behind.

All to play for in Istanbul.

Brilliant weekend for kimiboy with pole position, fastest lap and record, and wins the race.

I think Massa didn't push as hard as he would usually, he was a little cautious, considering he needs more points.

Nevertheless Kimiboy had the edge on him!
