As I am quite convinced as well that famous sportsmen who threatens not to go to the olympics are quite opportunistic and even hypocrite by saying this, what a nice free positive publicity is this for them.I saw that going differently in my mind

Certainly no evidence or statement from his part that he is not going, even less for some political reasons.
