I'm impressed ferret, these are very good, especially when compared with some overhyped "professional" work. Perhaps you are a pro in this field?

I know nothing about photography. But your photographs look real good. Nice work.

I know exactly how to take a photo, my uncle is a photographer and I have been watching him since I was a little kid and I always listen to what he has to say about photography and how he sets shots up so even though this is my first stab at doing it properly I already have a huge head start.

Here are a few snooker ones (be warned they are the full size images and may take abit to load) - Http://www.computermodding.co.uk/flashkit/snooker these are not the final images only test ones to try and get the lighting right, I will be back down Jesters soon to re do them when I get my new lights delivered.

Canon 400D with the standard 18-55mm lens, I have been using a x10 filter for the macro shots but I am in the market for a 300mm lens sometime this month, just deciding on which one to get.

EXIF information is retained on all of the images if you want to look at the full shot details.

Wow, I did not know you can get such nice marco shots with a filter.
I like the composition of your shots, you have very good taste.
