I would normally know of a few via work but im afraid i cant see any of them accepting someone who is this disturbed or has this much of a perssonality complex.

Can i please ask frame that you change Ronnie Fan boy into Ronnie fan person to give both members of the male and female sex a chance.

These topics are so dull and boring nowadays yawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwn !!!!!![/QUOTE

Exactly. Anyone can learn to use their weaker hand. It is simply called practice. Imagine a right handed person losing use of his right arm, they have to learn to adjust by using their left hand.

Well ... I know of a certain lady (I know her very well ) who was burned by electrocution some 43 years ago. She was (still is) in fact lefthanded but had to revert to righthanded for most activities. After 43 forced practice her brain hasn't quite adjusted yet and she's very clumsy and slow. So no it's not that easy ... Maybe she very dumb though

From one side You are consirned about the human rights in Tibet, and on the other side you call disabled people dumb. That's not good at all.

i dont think Monique was calling disabled people dumb at all.

i think she was explaining to janverhaas that it wasnt "that easy"....or if it was as easy as janverhaas thinks then the person Monique knows may be dumb because they never found it easy

ie Monique was explaining that it may not be as easy as Janverhaas suggests

What nobody seems to grasp on here is that Ronnie has never had to practice to be able to use his left hand it has always been something that he has been able to do. He only needs to practice with his left the same as he or anyone else does with there right, to practice cueing and the game as a whole and that is where the clever part comes in which is something he has just been born with. The same way as i am Right handed but play snooker left handed it wasnt my choice its just the way it is.

Ronnie isnt a genius, he is just amazing at what he does

And that was my point exactly: if you don't have a natural ability for it, yes, you can practice and learn to use your "other" hand, sometimes you have to. But you are never "natural" to it ... it remains something constraint and awkward.

If you compare O'Sullivan left handed in 96 to today he is miles better now. I remember he played Doherty in the Masters one year in about '2000 and Doherty hammered him 6-1 because O'Sullivan insist he play 50% of shots left handed and missed most of them. Practice has got him where he is today not genius!

It is very common in cricket for players to be ambidextrous. Lots of players bat right handed and bowl left or vice versa. Maybe all these players are geniuses?

The fact remains that both Nadal and O'Sullivan are right handed but one of them is far better at playing their chosen sport left handed. Infact Nadal is better left handed than O'Sullivan is right handed.

i think its comparing eggs and apples, but anyway.......

the word genius doesnt have a place IMO and if it ever came close to having a place in sport at present id put PHIL TAYLOR above both RN and RoS

actually ronnie taught himself to play left handed , its not a natural gift ditto matthew stevens because he hates the rest.

A genius is measured by their body of work there are only 2 i can be sure of and that is Mozart and Da Vinci.

Ronnie is a genius while playing on these fine fast cloths and under table heating its suits his game, would be nice to see him play with thicker cloths no under table heating etc :snooker: he likes to play perfect snooker but on the old table set up he would quickly move back into the following pack
Thats why Federer is more of a genius as he can win on any surface and conditions.
