It has been a decent tournament so far. I've been very impressed with Spain and Holland. Still early stages though and we can expect a few more twists and turns. If the Spaniards keep playing the way they are and don't bottle it, they will win it.

Kuyt scored the opener tonight, and proved he is a great asset when having top front players with him (which Liverpool dont have) Van Persie scored as well and TheVan has played the best 2 matches in his life. Think you owe them an apology.

France played well, unlucky and think Holland have given too much now. Can only go worse. So, think the title is not for us, despite winning in this manner. Its even better than 1974, but still came up number 2. I wont be surprised getting a semi against Italy and losing that one.

Kuyt is a very average player and Van Persie has been injured. Van Nistelrooy is past it and they do have a poor backline. I hope Romania do go through as along with Croatia I have backed them.

to beat Italy and France 3-0 and 4-1 is outstanding! Those 2 teams contested the 2006 world final

Jari is still one of the best strikers in the finnish squad (which probably says more abot the squad than Jari though ), but yes a great player in his prime, one of the best in europe at the time if I'm not entirely mistaken.

To be fair any player worth the sort should score from Van Perise's position and they were very fortunate to beat Italy considering the firt goal was miles offside which meant the italians wouldn't have pushed as many men forward. Holland have done this in the past and blown up in the knockout phase a la Spain. My two tips are still in it in Croatia and Romania so I am very pleased.

Also how can you say Liverpool don't have top players upfront when Torres plays for them!
