lol - actually i would like to see spain win - for many years they have had great players and played some wonderful games and always they have gone nowhere!

the germans have an excellent record even when not playing well and with weak teams. they never miss a penalty and always go further than the bookies odds would suggest. germany have won lots over the years spain have never even been close to winning anything they make england look good!

So Spain then, not quite as 'never' as Jimmy White but 44 years is one heck of a dry spell.

It has been a decent tournament so far. I've been very impressed with Spain and Holland. Still early stages though and we can expect a few more twists and turns. If the Spaniards keep playing the way they are and don't bottle it, they will win it.
