Well, I guess its popularity might have a little bit to do with Heath Ledger's passing away. Rumour has it that the role as The Joker was a quite significant factor there. Shame, he was one of the very best up and coming actors. Tremendous talent! Bet his performance was magnificent, albeit it cost him his life... and it fills the movie halls... we live in a great world, don't we?Comment

saw the dark knight the other day was good but doesnt seem to surpass the previous and it takes too long to end.
Heath Ledger's joker is played quite well but there are signs of jack nicholson original version in ledger's.
maybe the next film will take it up another step
